Staff great!! Very helpful. I needed late checkout and they accommodated. Room comfortable. Only complaint is our room next to front door. There was a loud car outside our window when we checked in with people sitting in it smoking. Along with the noise of the vehicle the gas fumes pouring in our vent. I allowed the car approximately 30 minutes before I complained to staff. They immediately responded and issue resolved. Again the staff is great!

Solid place to stay, go straight to your room!
Hotel was clean and had mostly friendly staff, including at the breakfast area. A particular person at the front desk was especially crabby about people even just trying to get to their rooms after 10pm (calling it “quiet hours”) and kicked people out of the lobby who were just using it as a common area to socialize. Convenient place for area things, fast food and gas near by. On the expensive side for what you get.

Check in was very smooth. The clerk let us know that our comfort was their top priority and to notify them immediately if there were any problems. The lobby,dining area and our room was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable and it was the first time that there were four pillows for each bed. Breakfast had a nice variety of choices. Very pleasant stay . Would definitely stay there again.

Country Inn of Two Harbors is a gem! Very clean, well maintained and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Even though it was totally full, it was quiet and we did not hear any neighbors. It's a great North Shore location to use as a hub for day trips. The price was quite reasonable and we liked that breakfast was included. The only drawback with Country Inn is that it's 2 stories with no elevator, so if you're on the second floor you have to haul your luggage and stuff up the stairs. If this is a problem for you, you might want to request first floor accommodations.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in.
We travel pretty frequently and I can tell you the hotel itself is not bad but the staff, especially the gentleman that works the front desk during the evening hours is absolutely amongst the most unprofessional and rude people we have met. The room doors slam closed pretty easily as there is no door closure feature on them allowing them to close loudly if not held, we got confronted for "slamming their door" even know we just let it close on its own. Then while waking up to use the restroom at night I noticed it wasn't closed all the way so I pushed it closed (not aggressively) and at after 1am that same front desk guy is banging on our door waking us up again saying he doesn't want to hear a door slam again and I told him we are not slamming any doors.. that's how that door was closing. Just unnecessarily aggressive for no reason. Upon checking in didn't hardly welcome us at all, basically said sign here and tossed some keys on the counter and said pool closes at midnight. My partner and I are a gay couple so I'm assuming he didn't like that. If your traveling to two harbors trust me, stay literally anywhere else.

Mr. Russ at the reception desk was an exceptional individual. With a warm smile and a welcoming demeanor, he greeted every guest as if they were old friends. His politeness was evident in every interaction, whether he was assisting with check-ins or answering questions about local attractions. He took the time to ensure that each guest felt valued, going above and beyond to accommodate requests and provide helpful recommendations. His professionalism and attentiveness truly enhanced the overall experience at the hotel.

Convenient in Some Ways, Not at All in Others
Pros: *Very clean. Comfortable beds. *Well-located, just off of the main road. Not far from the supermarket, 7-11, a few places to eat, and the downtown of Two Harbors (though a bit of a walk to get to those places). *The pool area looks nice, though we didn't end up using it. Cons: -They do NOT have an elevator or automated buttons on the doors!! So kind of a hassle when trying to bring your luggage or children in and out. I did NOT see that fact advertised anywhere. So, be aware!! -The breakfast was pre-packaged, defrosted Jimmy Dean sandwiches that you could microwave, and other similar packaged items. Nothing freshly made, though they did have fresh fruit. That was disappointing.

Great stay! We'll be back!
Really nice small hotel! So clean! Good location. Enjoyed the hot tub/pool area. Comfortable beds, pillows, friendly staff. Would have enjoyed more hot breakfast options, such as eggs, bacon, already made plain oatmeal with toppings, for instance. The woman supervising the area does such a nice job and offers a good morning/have a good day smile! The 4 of 5 on eco-friendliness was due to so much plastic waste at breakfast. The other was due to how much noise traveled from the room above. We'll definitely be back!

Abbs was the receptionist and was excellent! She offered advice where to go for dinner (super yummy), where to buy supplies (we needed gloves!), and provided us a room with a jacuzzi tub! What a treat and surprise. Abba should get highest customer service recognition - thank you!
