Comfortable stay & would recommend
Very comfortable one week stay at The Coast Hillcrest for a family of 4. It was our first time staying at this hotel and we will be back. The employees were all very friendly & helpful during our stay. Thanks Nicole for helping us when we needed to extend our trip.
Most importantly the beds and room were very comfortable. We all had great sleeps. I would recommend taking slides or slippers for comfort in the room & dining area.
The on-site restaurant was very convenient. Breakfast was our favourite. The servers do an excellent job refilling the buffet & making sure you are well looked after if you have any special requests. We had dinner at the hotel 3 times and we found it to be good, but not outstanding. We preferred our dinners at restaurants in town but that maybe just our personal taste. That said, we appreciated the convenience of having the on-site restaurant at the end of a long ski day, especially when travelling with kids.
There are also multiple hot tubs that we didn’t have an opportunity to use. The hotel is also on the shuttle loop but we didn’t use it as it takes 40 mins from the hotel to get to RMR with all of the stops. We could drive there in under 15 mins. Should also note this hotel is about a 5 min drive outside of the downtown core of Revelstoke. If you are someone who wants to spend a lot of time in the town dining & shopping you may prefer a different hotel located in the town center. Overall, we would recommend this hotel to others.
