The double sleeper room is small; when you open the sleeper sofa in the double sleeper room, there is not enough space at the foot of the sleeper bed to allow a walker or rollator to pass through. So if you are accompanying a person with accessibility needs, be aware you will need more space.

As a frequent visitor to NYC, I have become increasingly annoyed by the prices of Manhattan hotels. So I took a chance on one up on 168th Street - and it turned out to be a good call ! Easy to find, next to Presbyterian Hospital, simple, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Very basic, but everything I want for a 1-2 day visit : comfy Queen bed, large shower with power & truly hot water, good reception on the large screen TV, quiet and calm day & night (on a Saturday !), good elevators… My only qualm was when the A train (Express) was running local - doubled my travel time from Midtown. BUT when the Express train is on schedule, very quick ride up to “the Heights”. Staff was minimal (one guy) but he was super nice and helpful ! I will definitely return.
