We arrived in the evening - very friendly from the start and had put our lights and heat pump on ready for us. The room was clean, well laid out, large bathroom, comfy king bed (we had the Deluxe Studio Suite, courtyard view, executive level).
Good hangers for our clothes, suitcase bench, table and well equipped kitchen. The shower cubicle was large with great shower pressure, supplied toiletries, good size towels etc.
A bit disappointed in the sign on the wall saying we would be charged $10 per day for not doing our own dishes. I find this bad business and bad hygiene - we pay for the room and always in the past this included dishes. I've been a motel cleaner years ago and even if the guests did their own dishes, it was seldom up to a standard to pass on to the next guest. I hate to think that when we are new guests that we have to trust the previous ones did a good job or just slap dash to avoid the $10. Guests should not have to do dishes unless they want to - and most times we want to and do, but object to being threatened with a high fee if not done. It's not a camping ground cabin, it's a motel. For good hygiene, the cleaners should do this so they can be accountable if not done properly for next guests.
