We loved it! Note: The Eλία / Elia Reception in Chania is not always were the rooms are! The Reception is on a little alley just behind, but parallel, to the harbour side. Super nice reception staff! Elia (Eλία) have rooms in different places in the quite ritzy little alleys behind Chania Old Port. So we did quite a bit of wandering the tiny narrow, but safe and full of tourists, alleys until we found the 24 hour Reception. Kinda fun and a good vibe, seek and you will find!
Our room had its entrance door right on an alley on the ground floor. It had a high beamed ceiling and made us feel like humble but very comfortable Venetian merchants. Noting that Chania Old Port is Venetian. Pity we are not ship owners with very rich cargos! But, we certainly slept like royalty on ultra comfortable beds - splitting a double. Super comfy, great TV, and stunning being in the ultra beautiful old city centre with hundreds of restaurants and endless live music. Fab!
