Cold water.
It was very clean. Problem was there was no hot water. We were the only guests and perhaps they had turned water heater off. I don’t think they were expecting occupancy since it is off season for this tourist area. Had reservations but no attendant on property. Called number when we arrived and found key waiting.

I'd stay again, if the price is right.
The hotel is a little outdated and could use some TLC. BUT....the beds were very comfortable with new linens and the room was fairly clean. And most importantly, the shower had great water pressure!

Well, let me break it to you this way. Motel 6 has more amenities and better housekeeping. For $285 / two nights we had expected the toilet bowl to have been cleaned, an in room coffee maker or at least coffee in the lobby. Okay, so i coukd drive to the closest gas station in the rain for my coffee, but just saying. Old and antiquainted motel open 8 mos. / year. Can't recommend staying elsewhere enough.

salt creek inn is an older motel in Nashville IN. The room is nice, older decor but very clean! Beds were comfortable and xheck in and out was painless.

Do not stay here unless you have no better options
No breakfast. Supposed to have Internet but their router wasn't working. Advertised someone at front desk 24/7 but that's not true. They are not busy but will not answer phone when calling from your room.. you will need to walk down and ring a bell and wait for someone to emerge from watching tv in a back room. Lamp in middle of room was missing shade (just the metal ring that used to be a shade). Two sinks implying they you have a little kitchen area in pictures but second sink had no running water. Bathroom sink had barely any water pressure. Toilet barely flushed.. even toilet paper struggled to go down.. the toilet paper was sooo cheap it had no perforations for tearing. The view from the room was a McDonald's. EVERYTHING about this place was genuinely below what any normal person would expect for a cheap hotel and this place cost an arm and a leg. It was technically an ok place to sleep which I suppose is the main purpose but it was just plain bad in nearly every other way. Do not stay here.

The 2 stars are for the comfortable bed and the good (very hot) water pressure in the shower. The room was musty smelling with ceiling stains from leaks, a permanent mold ring in the toilet, fly poop on the outdated light shades, no light at door (outside) entrance, and the single curtain on the window didn’t even cover the whole window. If you’re desperate for somewhere to sleep and take a shower, this is your place, otherwise avoid!

No Hot Water/No Internet
We didn't need luxury accommodations. Salt Creek Inn was much less expensive than other hotels/motels nearby. We just needed a place to sleep, shower and surf the internet. However, we had neither hot water, nor internet service. We were able to sleep, however.

A place to sleep
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, but the key in the lock did not work properly, there was no hot water at night but there was in the morning. There were few electric outlets, no kleenex, and no ice.

The old school vibe is great, the location is great, the sheets and towels were clean. Old and musty smell permeates the rooms however. Needs some sprucing up. But pets are welcome, and that sold us.

I like that there was a McDonald's right across the street from the hotel and there was nice and quiet you didn't hear other people from other rooms being noisy but also I did not like the fact that the first room we got put in had bed bugs and when I went to the front desk and told the guy he switched his room and act like it wasn't a big problem that they had bed bugs in that room

One night business stay. Front desk was very nice and very friendly. Smooth. Was greeted in my room with my name and loyalty was recognized electronically. Comfy bed and all appointments were in order. Definitely stay here again.

The location was great and the room was clean! Everything else was substandard. It felt like going back to the fifties! no chairs to set in, walls were patched but not painted! Light single bulb hanging from ceiling! No amenities, not even ice bucket! The only thing possitive was location and clean. My husband became gravely ill and we had to leave quickly! The man at desk didn't even offer a partial refund! Would never stay there again!
