Stayed here for our honeymoon. Beautiful and new hotel just minutes away from the train station. Rome is a huge city so we wanted to be close to a train station. Although this hotel is not close to city center, taking the Metro to the Coliseum was very easy, only 2 stops away. The check in process was very quick and easy, they were able to get us an early check in.
The room was spotless and very quiet at night. I read some reviews saying this was a bad part of town but Rome is a huge city, so expect huge city things, i.e pick pockets at the train stations, graffiti on walls, and litter.
We felt safe walking at night just staying aware of our surroundings. The streets were quiet at night and we both slept through the night without hearing a lot of traffic.
Only suggestion I have is the outdoor patio is swarming with mosquitoes, it would help if the hotel could find a solution to help prevent getting bit. I have about 10 bites after sitting out there for 15 minutes.
