Not impressed. Property and staff didn't meet expectations based on reviews on website. Location is good, and you can see lots of great wildlife. Though the family run business is ok, I don't think that service is number one priority. I felt dismissed whenever I asked for anything of the owner.

Accueil chaleureux de carlos le propriétaire qui fait tout son possible pour qu'on se sente bien. Il distille également de très bon conseil pour que notre séjour se passe très bien. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Je conseille donc cet établissement.

Don Carlos es un excelente anfitrión te hace sentir en casa, además te aconseja sobre los lugares que debes de visitar, el desayuno fue delicioso, la habitación muy linda y limpia, la piscina al aire libre. Excelente calificación

Great stay at mycasa!
Our stay at Mycasa's was amazing! Carlos was really friendly and helpful and introduced us to good food around Manuel Antonio and tips for the national park. The place has sloths on the property!!! The highlight of our trip. The rooms are clean, comfortable, strong air conditioning and big bathroom. The home cooked breakfast was really nice too! The location is good, short walk to the main road where there is a bus to Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park. We really recommend this place!

It was great to stay at MyCasa for a couple of nights to be close to Manuel Antonio Park. Owner/operator, Carlos, is very friendly. He gave us great insight into accessing the park with regards to parking, etc.

Worst experience and misleading rating
We booked this hotel because of fake reviews of 4.8. This is not a hotel at all. Seems to be a paying guest in a family home, tiny bed room with kitchen, air condition is in kitchen no AC in bedroom - only pedestal fan ( weird & noisy) , located in interior narrow street , hard to find the location even with Costa Rica GPS, not enough space to park just 5 cars, insects , limited wifi service and worst customer service saying that "welcome to tropical country" for our complaints about insect bites and sleepless nights. Not worth for even half of the money we paid. We are loyal customers for hotels.com for years and totally disappointed about this stay. Hotels.com should evaluate the reviews before publish to maintain the website's reputation. The reviews are totally misleading. I strongly recommend NOT to book this tiny B& B with insects.

Excellent stay with wonderful host
We had a wonderful stay for three days. The facilities were really comfortable. Carlos was a wonderful host, full of useful advice and knowledge and really helpful. He also was really enthusiastic about the wildlife.

Covenient and warm B and B
This very personalized B&B is located midway between Quepos and Manuel Antonio. It is a very well run family affair. Carlos and his wife and family and their staff treated us like family, giving us lots of advice and pointers on how to best enjoy this beautiful part of Costa Rica. The B&B is run in such a way to facilitate openness between guests so we met great people as well. Breakfasts were fantastic, the pool was refreshing and the whole experience made us feel so much more than just a hotel guest. HIGHLY recommend My Casa to all who want a full and friendly experience in Costa Rica.

great hospitality!
this is a very clean and well kept place. carlos, the owner is extremely helpful to answer any questions about the area , and to suggest things to do. his english is perfect . we felt very welcome and enjoyed chatting with him, learning about the customs and culture of costa rica. the breakfast is very good also, out on the balcony overlooking nature. we saw monkeys, and a morph. i would return there in the future. the shower was very hot and strong, the room spacious with AC,

Outstanding host
Carlos and his family were wonderful hosts. Breakfast was always delicious and accommodated our vegetarian diet, animals like sloths, lizards, and monkeys would be easily seen at breakfast time, and the simple room was quite comfortable with AC, fan, and nice decorations. We enjoyed our stay, and really appreciated Carlos help and advice about local activities. Would stay again and recommend.

on est comme à la maison
très bien situé, proche du parc manuel Antonio, le propriétaire a été super de nous dire ce qu'il fallait ou ne pas faire, un accueil au top. Comme il est très chaleureux et qu'il aime que les touristes échangent entre eux, il demande à tous de venir à 8h pour le petit déj,ça fait une ambiance de table d'hôte c'est très sympa. Comme sa maison est à l'étage et la forêt est en face, il arrive qu'on voit des singes passés de sa terrasse ou autres...
