Unhygienic Facilities Dishonest Management Avoid
During my stay at Southern Star Club Hotel, I had an extremely disappointing experience. Upon check-in, the toilet in our room wasn’t flushing properly. I reported it to a staff member, who provided a plunger. Despite my efforts to fix it, the issue persisted. Before leaving for dinner, I informed staff again, requesting it be addressed while we were out.
At 4:30 AM, the toilet became completely unusable. Staff returned and spent nearly an hour using a hose both inside and outside the room, but the problem remained unresolved. We were forced to use the shower for basic needs and rely on a separate bathroom for other necessities, creating an unsanitary and deeply uncomfortable situation.
When I requested a refund for the severe inconvenience, the owner accused us of causing the damage to the toilet. Hours after we had already checked out, she sent a photograph of intact toilet paper as evidence. The image was inconsistent with materials that had gone through a sewer line, raising serious doubts about the validity of their claim and the hotel’s honesty.
Despite multiple attempts to address the issue respectfully, owner refused to issue a refund and continued to place unjust blame on us.
This experience was not only unacceptable and unsanitary but also a reflection of dishonest and unprofessional business practices. I strongly advise against staying at Southern Star Club Hotel to avoid similar treatment, lack of accountability, and disregard for basic guest comfort and respect.
