My stay at the Laylow Autograph Collection was disappointing, especially considering its price range. As a loyal Marriott and Autograph Collection customer, I expected more. Here are the reasons why:
1. Noise Issues: Despite being on the 10th floor, I could hear music and street noise after midnight.
2. Adjacent Room Noise: Starting from 5 AM, I was disturbed by children crying, and people talking loudly.
3. Appliance Noise: The mini-fridge in the room made intermittent loud noises throughout the night. I also noticed it emitted a foul smell when I tried to turn it off due to its noise.
4. Comfort Issues: The pillows(all 4 pillows) were too thick for back sleepers, and the bed was uncomfortably soft.
5. Hygiene Concerns: The bath towels had a strong unpleasant odor, noticeable even without putting them close to my face.
Overall, this experience fell short of the standards I typically associate with a 4-star rating.
