Good stay!
Great spot! Was surprised how well thought out the unit was. Nice bed, fresh water to drink, modern shower, good AC. Having bikes for us to use was clutch! Francis took us in the morning to our Water Taxi which was very nice. Thanks!

Let me first say that the owner Francis is one of the best people and most accommodating host I’ve dealt with. Very clean, safe, quiet place on the water. Gated resort with bikes. On the south side of island away from the hustle and bustle. We will be staying here again. We stayed in the Moody Blues cabin and it was so nice clean and all was just great. This property is a hidden treasure. Francis the house host was very friendly, helpful and responsive. The property is immaculate, quiet, and peaceful. This is also a great place to stay if you want a nice quiet home cooked meal. I give it a 9 out of 10.

This property was special from the beginning. Owner, Francis, picked us up at the water taxi terminal and helped us bring in our luggage. He was informative on good places to eat nearby and the basic layout of the town. The cottage was immaculate, on the ground floor and equipped with coffee, sugar and some beverages. Bikes were provided for us and everyday we went to town to walk the beach, sightsee, grocery shop and eat at restaurants. For $5 US you can get a roundtrip boat ride with your bike across to Northside Caye Caulker where there are several fun restaurants to dine in. There are lounge chairs to sit in on the ocean side of this property where it's also fun to bird watch. We hope to make it back to Blue Bay Cottage some winter in the future.

We stayed in the Blue Cottage Suite, which was a beautiful one bed studio apartment. Much to our chagrin, it rained three of the four days we were there, so we spent a lot of time in the room. I am so happy we were at Francis's home, and not a more traditional hotel type lodging. Lots of windows, two doors, a comfortable bed, TV with Roku, a great kitchen, including full refrigerator, fantastic kitchenware, everything we needed for a stay in room type trip. When it wasn't ready, we made great use of the provided bicycles, which were perfect for tooling around the island. I was very happy with our decision and would recommend this suite to others.

This property is unique- a quiet dead end street with fantastic ocean views! Birds and wildlife are easy to observe. After exploring the island, I believe we found the perfect place and host! As soon as I walked on to the property I felt like family. The room was beautiful and very clean. I hated to leave and could have stayed forever. This was an amazing place to stay if you like seclusion. I felt like I was the only one on the island. Couldn’t have stayed anywhere better

Great place to relax! Property was nice, clean and quiet - off the main roads but close enough to walk or bike to everything. Bikes provided were so nice to have. Right next to the water and watching the sunset in the evenings was very relaxing. Francis was extremely helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again!

Francis was a fantastic host providing us a shuttle from the Water taxi dock to the property and back. The property was beautiful with many custom touches including a fantastic shower, comfortable mattress and a couple Belikin to kick off our stay. Location was peaceful and private yet a simple bike ride to anywhere on the island. We loved exploring this Caribbean paradise.

The property is on the bay with good views. The birds were amazing. Swimming not readily available on property. In a quiet area of the island. Requires walking or biking to reach restaurants and stores. Bikes provided with units. Host was great.

We stayed at Blue Bay Cottage for 5 nights over New Years. It is a nice place, very clean and less than a year old. The first 2 days of our stay there was no running water due to a problem with the island’s water supply. I understand that is not a usual problem , but a failure with the island water pump. It was fixed during our stay But we also experienced power cuts daily , so not able to have AC every day. I have since found out that the electricity on the island has been a problem for some time. It was around 80 degrees and humid so we did miss the AC and ability to use fans at times. Other than those problems we did enjoy our stay , went on a snorkeling trip to the Ho Chan Marine Preserve and swam with nurse sharks and sting rays! The food on the island is very good, grilled fish and lobster was excellent. One of our favorites was the Italian restaurant Pasta Per Caso, stop in to make reservations there.
