The towns on the Snaefellsness peninsula are very small - like populations of 100 - 2000 people. I note that just because of the numerous choices of amenities around this particular one. Walkable to restaurants, coffee, and a cute little grocery. We moved on to a much more remote part of Iceland after this stop, and missed the convenience we had experienced here. Felt safe and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking. One side of the hotel faces the ocean, the other Mt Kirkjufell.
