Worst stay experience
Unfortunately, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. On our first day, we encountered a large lizard (about 40 cm long) on the balcony. We immediately contacted the staff, and they were very responsive, quickly removing and disposing of it. However, this was just the beginning of our problems.
Over the course of our stay, we found that lizards, geckos, caterpillars, and various other insects were constantly appearing in our room. The geckos were particularly noisy at night, but we initially accepted this as part of staying in Bali, where such creatures are common. However, things escalated when we saw a mouse walking on the wall of our room. We called the staff again, and they were kind enough to move us to another room.
Unfortunately, the situation didn’t improve. Early the next morning, we discovered a gecko, the size of a cat, in the bathroom of the new room. The staff promptly killed it when we reported it, but at that point, we had lost confidence in the hotel’s ability to provide a comfortable and safe environment.
The staff explained that this issue was due to the large trees nearby, but frankly, there’s nothing "normal" about sharing a hotel room with a mouse and a giant gecko. If you're comfortable with animals of all kinds wandering freely in your room, then this might be the place for you. Otherwise, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
