Hotel Montecarlo

Hotel Montecarlo

4/10 Poor
"The greeting from the hotel clerk was abrupt. When he told us our room was in the annex, I told him I booked in the main building. He said, very rudely, "I did not book the room and it cannot be changed". The bellhop assisted us with luggage to our room, but, we are seniors, had to walk thru an alley-like street, and hike up 3 flights of stairs because no elevator. This is why I requested a room in the main building. He told us they are avaliable to serve us 24/7; however, I called about 6:30 the morning we checked out to ask for bellhop assistance but was told "thete is only one person at the desk and bellhops don't start until 8AM. We struggled to get our luggage back down the 3 flights of stairs, walked in the hotel lobby at about 6:45AM to see 3 gentlemen behind the desk. I was very upset but did not say anything and only checked out becausethe lobby was full of guests. In addition, when we checked in we were told breakfast is offered for $20 per person. However, after talking with others in our group of 22 people, they were told breakfast was included. After all this, I would never recommend Hotel Monte Carlo to anyone. "

B&B HOTEL Venezia Laguna

B&B HOTEL Venezia Laguna

6/10 Okay
"We stayed at B&B HOTEL Venezia for our honeymoon in Venice. Both before our arrival and at check-in, we specifically mentioned that we were celebrating our honeymoon. However, in March 2026, the outdoor area was under construction. The welcome at the reception was careless and inattentive. Unfortunately, the room was not fully prepared—many essentials were either missing or incomplete. There were no hot beverages or even basic amenities like drinking water or glasses. The liquid soap was almost empty and ran out completely during our stay. Additionally, there was an exposed electrical cable next to the bathroom mirror, which was concerning. It was also surprising that there were not two full sets of towels. In summary, although the hotel is new and has a good location, our experience was a complete disappointment. The only positive aspects were the restaurant and the staff working there."

Hotel Abbazia

10/10 Excellent
"This place is absolutely gorgeous from the moment you walk in. Conveniently located by the train station, but just enough on a side street that it’s totally quiet. 20 minute-ish walk to the heart of Venice. Water buses within three minutes of the hotel front door. Location cannot be beat. Super friendly staff that made a fantastic room accommodation for me since I had a split reservation. I very much appreciate that. Make sure you book the breakfast because it’s well above average. And having the ability to eat the breakfast in there, lovely courtyard was a bonus. Loads of restaurant options and a delicious gelato shop in the immediate area. And of course you’re walking to the heart of Venice is just restaurant after a restaurant after a restaurant after a restaurant. A+ 10/10. "
