On the day of check-in I contacted the property for check-in instructions and got a reply saying my booking had been cancelled over a month ago, without me having been notified. When contacting hotels.com, I was told this was not correct and that according to their records, my booking had not been cancelled. I am not sure whether this is the fault of hotels.com or the property, but in any case this is extremely unprofessional and very unconvenient for us as we were left without accommodation for the night. I had already paid for the booking and am still waiting for the refund.
