The stay was amazing with beautiful Hotel location. Got a room with window facing the lake and mountains which provided a mesmerizing view of the surrounding. Staff were polite and friendly. Breakfast buffet was good and had variety.

Conveniently located right next to the train station (we had an early train). Very helpful staff for our questions about buses, trains, and hotel amenities. Wonderful breakfast buffet (everything you could imagine). We also enjoyed the sauna. Very quiet at night.

Excellent location

Superb location overlooking lake and directly connected to train station, bus station and gondola. Nice sized room with a sofa next to window. The electronic window blinds would open/close at random times though! Had buffet in the restaurant which had a good selection. Large comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. Large bathroom and nice shower.

Very nice place to stay, average sized room. Central location right next to the railway station and less than a 5-min walk into the town centre. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic with a wide choice available. Only negative comment is that the room cleaniness wasn't so amazing, an old sticky sweet and balls of fluff were under the main bed, not enough to complain about but would expect better than that (only discovered that after i dropped something on the floor and bent down to pick it up). Overall though, would recommend and stay again.

Great location, spacious rooms, kids loved the bunk bed. The dinner buffet is not worth it, the breakfast buffet is usual fare and not particular great either. The property does get crowded and some times the buffet does get very crowded. The best part of it is really the location, you can roll your bags out of the train station and into the hotel. The gondola ride is right next door, there is a super pretty lake right next door where you can kayak, and the park along the banks is where all the parasailors land. There aren't many restaurant options, though.

Very well located hotel, great for kids with a games console and a shuffleboard table. Good selection at breakfast. No tea or coffee or safe in the room. We got told off for drinking a can of lager in the seating area at hotel reception whilst the Norwegians on the next table who were doing the same didn’t. Lots of people eating take away in the reception seating area every night so think that is allowed. Overall a nice hotel but there should be tea and coffee in the room and a safe. Our room was not cleaned at all the whole time we were there which was also strange but didn’t spoil the experience.

Great room and breakfast. Staff could be more helpful though. The hotel tells you to park in a nearby lot. We had an issue when trying to pay for the parking and when we asked the hotel staff to help us translate they just told us it wasn’t their problem and we were on our own.

Great location, well-organized hotel. My only issue was that we quickly got bored of the very limited food offerings in the hotel (and there is not much variety around either, especially on a holiday weekend). And there were some odd inconsistencies with the food. For example, the first mushroom soup I got (which was delicious) had 4 pieces of gnocchi as a garnish. A few days later, it was basically gnocchi with a mushroom sauce! I would stay again for maximum 3 nights.

Disappointed

Hotel is in a great spot, With train and bus stadion right around them. The breakfast was great and the exercise area was nice. My biggest drawback was the condition of the room when I arrived. Dirty floor with a lot of hair, no soap in soap dispenser, extra toilet paper roll look like it was soaked in water, beds was not lined up. I would suggest to retrain/fire the head housekeeper if they approved the inspection before I arrived.

If you are driving do not stay at this hotel. It is one thing to not have parking at the hotel but quite another when you can't even drop your bags off right at the hotel and then go and park. I saw a number of older couples dragging big suitcases down the street to get to the hotel -- as I had to do myself. Not good. The place is great if you're taking the train but I would not recommend it for those with a rental car.
