The restaurant is very expensive and the menu is limited, in my opinion. Rochester has some fine restaurants very close to the hotel. Explore them.
"So much character in this place. My bathroom was beautifully tiled and updated. Some things about the room were a little worn out (window paint and carpet), but the character and warmth of the space outweigh any of that. The bed was very comfortable. I found the whole experience restful. And the air conditioning worked really well for an old building. Staff was also warm and welcoming. "
"I have an issue with the return policy for deposits. The property only returns deposits between 7a-7p, but my problem was that my bus left Detroit at 640am. I had to leave Detroit without my deposit and now have to wait for management to mail me my deposit. "

"We arrived late (just before 11pm) and were from our car to the front desk to our room in minutes. Our room was a bit small in relation to floor-space, but had plenty of surfaces to put our stuff, and our bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was very clean as well.
Breakfast offerings were a bit on the weak side. Just enough to get me to lunch, but a bit sparse in relation to others I've had.
Overall, an excellent hotel in a very convenient location."
