Across street from water reclamation plant, pee-u
This hotel was nice and on the newer side. The staff was great, very helpful and accommodating. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament, not a beach trip so the location was good for our needs, 5 minutes from the sports complex. Our only complaint was it is directly across the street from a water reclamation facility which meant there was a constant odor.

Disappointed formerly-frequent customer
The good: Recent updating of all rooms with new carpet, paint, shower enclosures, is commendable. Pool is pleasant. Service is very good The bad: to pay for the updates, the biggest attraction to me - the above average breakfast - has been severely cut. My favorite breakfast item - fresh cut fruit - was deleted altogether on weekdays and remains in a diminished capacity on weekends. No more vegetarian saugage option. No more daily scrambled eggs. In addition, room service has been reduced to every other day. What remains is as pedestrian as many lesser hotels. This FI&S has become just another hotel.

Overall, the stay was good. In the areas where I didn't give you a 5 it was related to the breakfast being just ok. Boiled eggs were misshapen and rubbery. In regards to EcoFriendliness, while there were signs saying that towels hung up would not be replaced, they all were. While not a problem, I was just trying to save some resources.
