The room was typical for La Quinta: moderately sized, clean, nice TV, small bathroom, nice linens, noisy heater/air conditioner. For the 2nd highest price per night for our 10 day trip using 6 hotels, this was the least comfortable bed with rock hard pillows. I did not sleep well here, despite the fatigue of 9 hours of mountain switch-back driving. The bathroom was well-supplied with towels. Hot water was slow coming and never really hot. Dove products were offered for complimentary toiletries. I dislike the film Dove products leave on my skin, so I am not a fan. The worst was the poor lighting in the bathroom that made putting on makeup a real pain. They have a mirror that has total perimeter light, but the brightness was about the same as a single 40 watt bulb. I finally found the hallway light opposite the mirrored closet to be a bit better for applying cosmetics.
