My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights with our son to visit the D Day beaches. The hotel is basic and cheap, but was clean with comfortable beds. Perfect for somewhere to put your head down. The hotel was also very close to the centre of town and you could walk to the cathedral in less than 10 minutes. Car parking at the hotel was free.
The only negatives we had were that the breakfast was rubbish. No fresh fruit, just two types of cereal, bread, cake and yoghurt. I have a gluten free diet, so had only yoghurt, as I couldn’t eat anything else. Not worth the cost. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. We also found the reception staff to be quite rude and unfriendly, with the exception of a lovely Easter European lady, who was kind and helpful.
