Shelter in the storm

This was an unexpected last minute stop- we were traveling by motorcycle and ran into thunderstorms- we took shelter- the staff was great- they let us park our bike out of the weather and were very accommodating- while an older establishment things were clean and updated in our room- we felt safe in the room and comfortable that our bike would be ok out front.

The Snowbird Motel is a family-owned throwback to another time. I stayed one night for a business trip and it was exactly what I needed. I appreciated the details, from the helpful gentleman at the front desk to the parking spot in front of my room and the sparkling clean floors. The room contained few amenities, but they were important ones: a fridge, microwave, coffee pot, and a window unit that was easy to use for comfort and white noise.

I stayed here one night when I was too tired to finish a drive that I normally do in one day. It is about 20 minutes off I10. The room was not large, but it appeared to be recently renovated as everything in the room appeared to be new. The floor was tile, which I feel makes it cleaner. The staff was very helpful and friendly. For $80/per night, it is a good deal and perfect if you just need a place to stay for the night.
