Excellent stay! The staff was friendly and helpful, the property was clean, and the food was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of the dining options. Every restaurant we visited was very good. The drinks were also excellent—strong, well-made, and definitely not watered down. The only downsides were that not all seven restaurants were open each day due to the hotel not being at full capacity, and there was quite a bit of seaweed on the beach during our stay. While neither issue ruined the experience, they are worth noting for future guests. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

The food options are not good for a property like the W. The three restaurants do not offer any food that's considered fine dining. The drinks at the pools are awful and the options are limited. The Outpost Cafe was the highlight of the trip everything there was great. I would get rid of Scena all the food we ordered were not good at all. The breakfast at the Trade market was excellent. Taman Beach club was ok. We had a reservation for Satsuma rooftop at 7pm on Saturday 6/13/26 and when we showed up the restaurant was closed and we were never notified.

I had the most incredible experience at the W Hotel, and a huge part of that was thanks to the amazing staff. Rhomer, Santo, Francisco, Jeremy, Diamond, Thomas, Roman, and Nicholas the Chef all went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, everyone was warm, welcoming, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making sure every guest had an amazing time. The energy they brought every day was contagious, the activities were so much fun, and the overall vibe was absolutely unmatched. A special thank you to Nicholas the Chef, who went out of his way to prepare kosher meals for me. That level of care, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail meant so much and made me feel truly valued as a guest. The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere was incredible, and the service was exceptional from start to finish. This team is the definition of hospitality. Thank you all for making my trip so memorable—I can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Room service even comes 3x a day!

Went here for a quick solo getaway, and it was completely relaxing. The staff was really nice, and they did everything to make my stay even better. The spa is incredible, definitely book an appointment and enjoy the facilities. The food in the restaurants was pretty good (sushi restaurant was the best). Only bad thing was that my shower had a bad smell, but it didn’t ruin the experience overall. Shout out to Nova (entertainment), super cool guy! Would definitely go back.

W is a kind of action party vibe brand with music speakers and noise everywhere, even at the “quiet” pool. Not somewhere if you want tranquil relaxation. Building is a deep. V to the sea so ocean view is a side view. Non ocean view rooms look on to neighbouring vegetation. Chef is a highlight - food high standard in all restaurants though perhaps would become limited after a while. Some really great members of staff - others still learning.

The property itself is beautiful, and the food was consistently good, and it is very easy to get a spot by the pool, which made for an enjoyable overall experience. That said, the service could be a bit inconsistent at times. There were several corporate events during our stay that limited access to certain restaurant spaces, and the rooftop was closed for private events on two out of five nights. We also encountered a few minor room issues, such as a leaking shower door and patio doors that didn’t seal properly. Additionally, the app frequently changed restaurant hours, which made planning meals somewhat challenging. Overall, I would rate the stay a 6.5 out of 10. With a few improvements to service consistency, communication, and room maintenance, this property has the potential to easily be an 8 out of 10 experience.

This was the best stay EVER! The entertainment crew Elian !!! , Jayson and Baby A were FANTASTIC, all the different activities this hotel had to offer !!! The food choices for whatever you desired !!! I was there with a family member with a gluten free diet…. Lots of options for her with everything we had to EAT … our room was a suite and it was fabulous. Rented cabana were worth every penny . The staff super friendly and very helpful . Transportation arrangements black car service all the way .

The property was very clean and the place has a few activities to do but I felt like the staff wasn’t very knowledgeable on any recommendations if you wanted to step off the resort. They don’t have a taxi service either where to call. Sometimes you ask a staff a question and 5 other staff get involved to figure things out. They almost charged double for my sister small stay. Better and propped hospitality training needs to happened here. Also there was a bartender that seemed bother or spaced out whenever I would ask for a drink. I’m not sure if I would come back here.

We've stayed, now, in a handful of hotels in the DR or Cancun areas and agree that this is our favorite so far. Well run, very helpful staff, attention to detail, clean, great food, great beach, great rooms. Not crowded, very relaxing, which is what we were after! One flaw for me is that the restaurants, while serving great food, focus very heavily on seafood, so if you love seafood - great! If not, you'll need to pick and choose carefully. But other than that, any issues we had were dealt with quickly (eg items not replenished in the room) and the staff went out of their way to help. Each restaurant has its own list of specialty cocktails which is fun! The buffet restaurant has good variety and good food. The variety and choice of recliners on the beach or by the pools was great (more umbrellas on the beach would I think help though!). I used the gym repeatedly and it was well stocked. My wife used the spa and said the massage was extremely well done (though of course expensive!).

W Punta Cana is one of the newer resort in the area. Overall, my wife and I had a wonderful stay. The staff at this resort are amazing. You get the true, Dominican warmth with each interaction. Special shoutout to the staff conducting the activities at the main pool, bartenders at Wet Bar and The Plaza, bell guys, room service crew, and cleaning crew. Our room was always spotless with sufficient towels and toiletries during our stay. The DJ and entertainment crew at 33 1/3 speakeasy did an amazing job as well. Overall, I give the resort a 8.5 out of 10. Like everything, there is always room for improvement especially at a newer resort. The two areas that are very important at an all-inclusive are food and alcoholic beverages. The food was overall good, but needs a bit of improvement. You are visiting the DR, I feel like there should be more traditional dishes with more flavor/seasoning. Food tended to be a bit bland at times. Lastly, the consistency of the drinks and availability of certain premium brands. Whisky, tonic and lime should taste the same at every location you order from, but that was not the case with several of the drinks. Also, some drinks and liquors would be available for example at the pool, but not at The Plaza. Overall, I would definitely come back and I would recommend this resort to family and friends. I believe management and staff are working hard to improve and live up to the Marriott brand. Cheers to a wonderful stay!
