The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was very nice. We used the pool and jacuzzi which we found to be well maintained and as we would have wanted. The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner although the service at breakfast was disappointing as our coffee was forgotten. All in all a very pleasant stay (our two sons were playing in the PGA golf competition) and the course was beautiful.

Our bedroom was lovely, large room, very clean and fantastic bathroom. Mini fridge and air con were positives too. I found the downstairs areas of the hotel lacking in atmosphere. The evening dining options were poor with just the la carte menu or room service. There was no bar menu, which we found a bit odd. The room service menu could quite easily be offered in the bar area. The breakfast was cooked to order but was tasteless and some light music would have set off a better vibe. Not a bad hotel at all just lacking in atmosphere.

Excellent stay, great spa facilities, spacious rooms, lovely food. Me and my partner stayed for bed and breakfast for one night, the breakfast was so filling and tasty. The hotel itself is very clean, the staff couldnt do enough for you, very polite and accommodating. You definitely get what you pay for 🙂

A lovely hotel set in beautiful grounds, with views of the golf course. It's a nice walk to Bowood House to see the fantastic gardens. Many thanks to Silvo for looking after our dietary requirements.

Beautiful Wiltshire

Very enjoyable. Lovely hotel and surroundings. Would have liked the choice to be able to eat in another restaurant for dinner. As we usually eat at 8pm and other restaurant was closed. But in all very wonderful two nights at Bowood.

Fabulous tower room worth the extra money. Only down side was wifi wasn't particularly very good in the tower room. Lovely pool, sauna etc and nice to have adults only time. Breakfast plenty of options and excellent quality produce. Definitely coming back again

Bowood is absolutely stunning. This is probably the 5th or 6th time we have stayed here and every time the service is outstanding. The staff can't do enough for you and it was a real treat to be recognised for a return stay with a bottle of prosecco in our room. The pool area is lovely - very quiet with no issue getting a lounger and the view across the golf course and woods is dreamy! The walks around the estate are stunning with the added bonus of being able to visit the house and gardens. Another wonderful stay!

We stayed in the tower suite which was overall lovely room. For that price, I would appreciate if the amenities are a bit nicer. The quality of the shamoo/conditioner was not very good in my opinion. I found the pillows were useless, too airly and too soft, feels like no substance in them. My neck was in terrible pain when I woke up. The pool was nice but I think it would be good to have a booking system. At some point, too many people came and there were not enough room for everyone. The restaurant was good. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. I liked the fresh flowers displayed there. We didn't interact many staff there, but the lady checked in and out could be more friendly and welcoming though. It was our first time anywhere hotels we stayed at, we were not asked how was your stay? kind of stuff at the check out. I was prepared to give a little feedback of the room, but didn't have chance.
