Had an amazing 3 night stay with friends. Room was clean,nice and comfortable and were equipped with everything we needed. Staff were amazing from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was delicious and great portion sizes. We are already planning to visit again in May with a larger group of ladies. Would highly recommend

We found the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was wonderful but we were very disappointed to get into the shower and it was cold, the room felt cold too when we went to bed. The bed was very comfortable, the room shaked in the night when the big Lorrie’s went past too.

Great place to stay for Forest Live. Hotel is lovely, warm and welcoming. It was a warm day so quite hot inside but we spent time outside in the huge gardens, the bar was open and we sat next to the river. Breakfast was superb, fresh fruit and proper butchers sausages! Would definitely stay again.

Great stay here. Comfortable and lovely room. Friendly staff and a brilliant breakfast. A great area with access to the forest just up the road. Definitely recommend!

A decent hotel for the price. Breakfast was as good as the other reviews claim it to be. It wouldn't win Four in a Bed nowadays and could certainly do with a spring clean, but it's in a great location and has plenty of charm.

Great place.Easy check in. Very nice room with new en-suite. Everywhere was clean. Very nice breakfast. Great value and would recommend. Oh and the hotel’s setting by the river was superb as well

Really helpful and reactive team, Also good breakfast and choice. If you are in a room on the front of the property the road is quite noisy. otherwise very good. easy parking too.

Really nice area to sit out by the river. Could sit there every day! Staff nice. My particular room was fine but on the road side with noisy traffic.

Just as we arrived at reception the heavens opened and we had a hailstorm. The young lady at reception made us a coffee while we waited for the storm to pass before she took us across the road to the annex. We were travelling by E-bikes and as their garage was out of action, she helped us park the bikes in the kitchen overnight, very useful. The setting of the main building is beautiful, right next to the river and next to the bridge. The cafe in the main building was excellent, this is where we had our breakfast. We stayed here many years ago before it was extended, it really looks a superb place. Next time we will stay in the main building and hopefully for more than one night. We had a lovely evening meal in tge pub next door.

Made to feel very welcome and hotel kindly arranged a late check-in without fuss. The room was comfy and clean and the breakfast first class. Nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a super location on the bridge with views of the river and just a short walk to shops and amenities. Very friendly - will always go back when visiting Thetford area.

The room that I had booked was very correctly described as facing a main road. This did not bother me as I am partially deaf and I simply slept on my left side which blanked out the noise. The hotel itself was excellent and had a river alongside with a walk along this.

There was nobody at the hotel it was closed at 10pm I and my wife we had to travel back home after a day at a wedding travel 122 miles back home in the middle of the night no where to stay we had to travel home.

One night for a nearby wedding

We were attending a wedding 4 miles away and was the closest we could find. Quite tired and in need of some TLC and modernisation. Exterior is not inviting and Brandon itself has changed a lot since last here. Our room was in a separate building the road. Fine if it’s a one off for somewhere to put your head down. Ample parking and friendly staff. Be mindful that Hotels.com stated breakfast was included but it wasn’t so need to take that up with the booking agent.
