YOTEL Edinburgh
"Off the main drag but on main transit route and within walking distance of restaurants and sights. Clean and spacious rooms, great for a few days stay to explore the city."
Apex Waterloo Place Hotel
"The manager was particularly very helpful and knowledgeable. Impressed!"
Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo by IHG
"I have stayed before and found it to be an excellent stay. It is very convenient to both the downtown area and the airport and especially the zoo. We had a few negatives but nothing that would prevent us from coming back. We had a lot of trouble getting the bags up all the stairs from the road level. The next day we saw a little sign that said contact the hotel if you need help with the bags but for us it was too late. The supper menu for the guests who want to prepay supper was very limited and no where near the quality expected for the price of the add-on supper. The last small concern is that a Hotel that size should offer some type of Hotel Shuttle. To expect guests to struggle to get on the city bus (which is quite often too packed to allow Luggage) is asking a lot."

Britannia Hotel Edinburgh
"Friendly pleasant staff especially at front of house, overall not a bad stay factoring in the price & proximity to the city centre we were quite pleased with our stay. The only thing that really stuck out to us was that the whole area around the food buffet/dining area on the hard floor was very sticky. Apart from that, the rest of public areas were clean & tidy, the room was clean & pleasant. There are some negative reviews on the property & i can kind of see where they maybe coming from as other people's views/expectations can vary slighlty, but atleast from our stay i have to give a positive review & we would return again in the future."
Village Hotel Edinburgh
"Excellent hotel. Decent location for getting into Edinburgh. Breakfast was just ok only thing that could be improved. Paid parking outside which you can pay on arrival (10 per night) . Very good leisure facilities and only £5 to use per room"
Point A Edinburgh Haymarket
"Great place to stay. Close to a lot of Attractions."
Leonardo Hotel Edinburgh Haymarket
"Amazing staff and the room we stayed in was wonderful. Location was perfect! :)"
Hilton Edinburgh Carlton
"Pros: The hotel screams out location, it can’t be a better location for stay to absorb Edinburgh. Staff is very helpful too. Cons: Breakfast variety is not great. Path to room, lifts are really confusing ( but I can’t fully blame them as they are trying to modernise a castle which might be tough) Temp works are on at multiple places which is little eyesore. Overall: good value ( I just stopped saying great for now)"
