What i didnt like is the hotel information on the Expedia site and the hotel website not transparency. Created tons of confusion and negative check-in experience. Took longer than 1/2 hour for resolution. Expedia live support is no help at all.

I did not know about the room was not have view or window because we checked in at evening and when next morning was very dark in the room and I open the curtain then I found out the window was fake. very uncomfortable then I called front desk to speak with staff then she said to me no room this hotel window for twin room. the room wall was dirty that looks like never clean ( coffee or some water splashed and stain ) and only one laundry machine in the hotel inside big bath room and it was very in convenient. The staff was not good response my request and even though I can not talk with the Manager that time.
anyway I would not recommend to choose this hotel.

The facilities were good. I felt no inconvenience. However the attitude of clarks was not perfect. They did not look they wanted to show guests hospitality at the front desk but just wanted to deal with us like a machine does.

Location is great. Get off on Bashamichi Station Exit 5 and it's right there. Literally 30 secs from the moment you reach ground level.
There is my favorite Ootoya right downstairs. I hate the closest convenience store "Daily Yamazaki." They always have a smoke party right outside the door that you can smell in the store. If you plan to stay for a long time, there's a Gold's Gym within 30 seconds too.
I simply can't recommend this hotel because I was unable to sleep well. The bed was rock hard and the room/hotel had a funky smell.
The room is older. Torn wall papers, there was a plate that opens to the outside and that plate was broken. I can hear drunk gatherings even with the windows closed.
The room is relatively larger by a tad bit in the price range compared to APA.
If you choose to not have your room cleaned, they will reward you with either a drink or Ponta 200 Points scratch card.
I would recommend APA Yokohama Bay Resort which is a tad bit more walk, but it's a lot newer and refined for the same price. The only downside is the smaller room.

Business hotel
One good thing was there were lots of restaurants nearby and Pacifico is a one-click taxi ride. (Also subway and convenience store nearby) The hotel is older, but has been refurbished. It still some how seemed like a throwback Japanese business hotel of earlier eras. In summary, it's solidly OK, nothing bad stood out but nothing fabulous either. I can recommend it for a brief business stay.

A Great Hotel for an Overnight Stay in Yokohama
This is a great place to stay when in Yokohama for only one night. Great location in Bashamichi, easy to walk to a cafe, bar or restaurant. The room is small, but par for the course with may single-bed hotels in Japan. Breakfast is good. The best part of this hotel is the Japanese-style hot bath on the top floor. A great way to relax at the end of the day, or a great way to wake up in the morning. Highly recommended!
