This is not really a hotel. It ends up being more like an Airbnb. There is no one to receive you, and all access instructions are sent in writing. They also ask you to pay taxes online through an external link outside of Expedia, which feels unsafe and untrustworthy. In fact, you have to do it, otherwise they do not send the exact address or access instructions. It is basically a house converted into rooms, with a shared bathroom for everyone. At least it was clean.

Hotel is a short distance from Bergamo Airport. If you are a fan of puzzles, this is your hotel! Check in is via a security key box. To access this you are sent a link that gives you photographic step by step instructions on how to access the grounds of the complex/obtain your key/ and finally locate your room. We booked a comfort quadruple room which had a private bathroom. On arrival, the first set of gates which accessed the grounds was open (therefore didn't have to use the access code - not secure at all). We located the key boxes and obtained our keys. There were 2 keys (bedroom + bathroom which although was private was across the hall. Unfortunately, the key to the bathroom didn't work. We had arrived in the very early hours of the morning and were left with no access to a bathroom. Having tried to contact the property management by Whatsapp (their method of contact) no one responded. By 6am we were becoming desperate and in need of using the bathroom facilities. I therefore rang the management number only to be responded to passively aggressively by the them. We were informed we could use the shared bathroom further down the corridor (approx 6 others had use of this room). Clearly this is not what we had paid for. The management didn't appear to be bothered that we were unable to access our private bathroom. We were only here for 2 nights thankfully. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

I don't know what was worse. The instructions for entering were flawed, and the key was hidden in a secret place with a code that was never disclosed. I also rented the garage due to car trouble, and a few hours before, they told me there was no more space available. I only managed to get in thanks to the help of a kind and friendly Italian family staying there, but there were about 10 of them making a huge amount of noise early in the morning in the communal kitchen opposite my room. Late at night too. In short, the standard was that of a youth hostel but with three-star hotel prices. Run away from this place. It's nothing but headaches and expensive. Non so cosa sia stato peggio. Le istruzioni per entrare erano errate e la chiave era nascosta in un posto segreto con un codice che non è mai stato rivelato. Inoltre, avevo affittato il garage a causa di un guasto all'auto e, poche ore prima, mi hanno detto che non c'era più spazio disponibile. Sono riuscito ad entrare solo grazie all'aiuto di una gentile e disponibile famiglia italiana che alloggiava lì, ma c'erano circa dieci persone che facevano un gran baccano la mattina presto nella cucina comune di fronte alla mia stanza. E anche a tarda notte. Insomma, lo standard era quello di un ostello della gioventù ma con prezzi da hotel a tre stelle. State alla larga da questo posto. È solo un incubo e costa un occhio della testa.

Egidio si è dimostrato un host molto accogliente e disponibile. Purtroppo le mie aspettative erano diverse rispetto alle foto del sito e anche la pulizia della camera e del bagno mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Peccato.

Zimmer einfach gehalten mit 3 Betten drin aber ok zum schlafen. Für mehr aber auch nicht. Toilette aufn Flur nur für uns. Aber sehr altes Schloss und direkt kaputt gewesen. Vermieter informiert und den ganzen Urlaub nicht repariert so ohne eigenes Bad. Würde es nicht noch mal buchen.
