Ngedere Lodge is nicely situated in Mto wa mbu as an ideal base for Safari game drives to Manyara Lake, Ngorongoro Crater and even the Serengeti National Parks. I had the half board package. Erick cooked great food with a range of pancakes, omlettes, sausages for breakfast and the loads of options on the evening. Numerous local dishes, like Ogali and international greats including pizza and chips, burgers, etc. The rooms were clean with warm showers - great for familes and solo travellers. There is a nice pool too, but the highlight for me is sitting and watching the resident troop of monkeys. They are happy to be handed bananas and watching them interact with rabbits is a joy. Thank you Meshack and the team for a wonderful stay. I'll be coming again.

Cuando llegamos al hotel , en vez de darnos la habitación que habíamos reservado nos dieron a elegir entre dos de categoría inferior. Nos quejamos y al final nos dijeron que había un problema con el agua caliente en la que habíamos reservado y por eso nos ofrecían una habitación inferior, sin embargo no nos hacían ningún descuento en el precio. Nos quedamos en la que realmente habíamos reservado y el agua caliente funcionó los 9 días que pasamos allí ; sin embargo la taza del baño estaba rota y aunque lo dijimos todos los días la arreglaron el día 8. La alcachofa de la ducha estaba orientada a la pared y no se podía mover, para que te diera el agua había que pegarse a la pared. La piscina , que era la razón por la que habíamos reservado ese hotel , estaba sucia y no se podía usar. Nos dijeron que la habían limpiado y aunque estaba un poco mejor el agua seguía turbia. Por supuesto no la pudimos usar ningún día. Ofrecen desayuno buffet y no lo había. Te servían en la mesa un desayuno que no estaba malísimo pero casi. Lo mejor del hotel ,el guarda de noche que siempre estaba atento y sonriente. El resto del personal sin más , eran agradables pero no se enteraban de lo que se les pedía. No lo recomendaría.
