Excellent hotel with very decent prices in a great location - after you get across a particularly complex series of road junctions, it's a flat ten minute walk down a lively pedestrian street to the heart of the city. The UBahn station Sendlinger Tor is on the doorstep and is a major hub for public transport. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, not only during the stay but, in my case, in finding and sending back to me my irreplaceable laptop charger, which I had left behind. The hotel itself is plain but with everything in place and working. I'm not a fan of hotel breakfasts but this one is excellent, with a good basic selection, really good fresh pastries and even, at the weekend, a bath of glorious Bavarian Weisswurst - I could not have been happier!

Centrally located, clean room, and check-in was smooth but very basic otherwise. Water from the bathroom tap ran brown for five minutes straight before it cleared which was concerning, and the breakfast was pretty sad. Disappointing for £200 a night.

Our room was clean but very basic. Lacked tea & coffee making facilities and a safe, plus no glasses in the bathroom. Great to have a balcony. Very noisy area so getting to sleep wasn't easy. A very good choice at breakfast, best chocolate croissants ever. All staff that we met were very friendly.

The staff were friendly and everything was clean. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel on the whole was a little tired and dated but I enjoyed my stay and if anything this added a nostalgia value to the place. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

Was so pleased with everything. Room was nice size with double paned windows that kept street noise to a minimum. Beds were comfortable but on the German hard side. Breakfast was quite good. One morning was buffet but the next 2 was cooked to order. No limits on amounts. Eggs. Meat cheese yogurt fruit coffee. Staff were fantastic. Location is amazing! Near tons of transport and within walking of a lot of sights. There are a few homeless in the neighborhood but they never bothered me once. And finally the price is exceptional. Highly recommend.

Good hotel. Room was clean. Friendly hotel staff. Bit outdated, but we already knew from just looking at the pictures when booking it, so it came to no surprise. Room gets pretty hot, so AC, or just a fan, would've been a nice feature. All our lamps in the main room, except one, were missing light bulbs. So we only had one table lamp to light the whole room - it worked okay for us, but maybe would be annoying for some. One of the power-outlets near the bed didn't work. The fan that automatically turns on when lightning the bathroom, was really loud - although I understand it needs an auto-function to avoid as much moisture as possible. It just would've been nice if you could enjoy a bath with a fan that's just a bit more quiet. Would also be nice if the room had a mini-fridge to be able to store your own cold drinks, and a little area with a kettle and cups, so you could make your own tea/coffee. Breakfast was nice. Eggs, meats, croissants, pretzels, yogurt... etc. Location was really nice. It's just down a quiet road that leads up to a main road and a 5 minute walk from where the main shopping street begins. Overall I felt like I got my moneys worth, and would recommend it for the location, price and the fact that nothing about the hotel was outright bad. The above negatives mentioned are just room for improvements, but in no way did it ruin my stay. I would stay here again.

J'étais de passage a Munich. J'ai réservé 2 nuits. Les avis sur l'application hotel.com étaient tous bons sur la propreté. Et bien j'ai du quitté après la première nuit. Des cafards partout dans la chambre. Non l'hôtel n'est pas propre. Pas de climatisation. Mais limite c’est acceptable vu le prix mais pas le reste. A fuire.

Ett enkelt hotell med lätt tillgång till Metro och Münchens innerstad. Parkering är inte helt enkelt men bredvid finns det parkeringshus med nattaxa mellan kl 17 och 9 för 50kr bara. Tyvärr var det väldigt varmt i rummet - missade vid bokningen att det inte fanns ac. Lite tråkigt att det luktade lite cigarettrök i rummet också.

Ich war als Alleinreisender im Hotel Mondial und hatte einen rundum guten Aufenthalt. Die Lage am Sendlinger Tor ist unschlagbar, um München zu Fuß oder per U-Bahn zu erkunden. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch das Personal an der Rezeption, das sehr freundlich und aufmerksam war. ​Zum Zimmer: Das Zimmer und das Bett machten beim ersten Blick einen sauberen Eindruck. Zwar gab es keine Klimaanlage, aber dafür einen fußstehenden, drehbaren Tischventilator, der bei den warmen Temperaturen sehr hilfreich war. Das Zimmer hatte zudem einen Balkon. Am Morgen gab es dort eine nette kleine Taubenbegrüßung – die allerdings beim Abschied ein paar Spuren auf dem Balkongeländer hinterlassen hat, die man vielleicht kurz abwischen könnte. 😉 ​Zum Service und Frühstück: Auf dem Zimmer hätte ich mir bei der Sommerhitze eine kostenlose 0,5-l-Flasche Mineralwasser zur Begrüßung gewünscht. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist ein solider Start in den Tag: Der händisch zubereitete Cappuccino war eine absolute Wucht! Beim Orangensaft hätte ich mir meiner Meinung nach allerdings etwas mehr Fruchtgehalt gewünscht. ​Alles in allem ein praktischer und sehr zentraler Ausgangspunkt für einen Städtetrip!

Koselig hotell med veldig hyggelig betjening. Veldig godt rengjort rom. Hotellet er ikke nytt, og standarden er ikke supermoderne. Ønsker du luksus og hypermoderne design, så er dette ikke helt stedet for deg. Ønsker du derimot å bo på et hotell der alle er hyggelige, alt er rent og pent, sengene er gode og frokosten er veldig bra, da skal du til Hotel Mondial! Frokosten er vel verd å betale for. Her får du blant mya annet ekte eggerøre (og ikke pulvereggegrøt som de fleste hoteller serverer). Beliggenheten er veldig god, med kun få skritt fra hotellinngangen og til U-bahn Sendlinger Tor. Ønsker du heller å spasere, så er det ikke langt å til Marienplatz midt i sentrum. Hotellet har også egen parkeringskjeller.

Ein Zimmer zum Schlafen ohne besondere Annehmlichkeiten. Positiv, dass man die Fenster weit öffnen konnte und es außenliegende Sonnenjalousien gibt. Allerdings lag das Zimmer an der Straße oberhalb von mehreren Restaurants mit Außengastronomie. Dafür ist man aber direkt am Sendlinger Tor mit der U-Bahn-Station.
