Great place
The staff were delightful and couldn't help more. A lovely budget hotel and I'd recommend to all types of trips. Breakfast is nice and coffee is strong. This is a budget hotel, but with staff of a 5 star hotel.

Building was too old and of course the room was not soundproof. You can hear people next door doing their sex. Hallway you can hear their steps and talking. During the night you can hear band playing at QUEENS HOTEL. Every night they are fixing something on top of your room that create lots of noise that can bother you not going to sleep. Breakfast always running out of food. Asking for something and saying in a moments but you have to wait for half an hour.. People from breakfast are not smiling and they are so mean. Room, you left your key to the front desk to clean but coming back not clean just supply your two bottled water and the shaver. Location was OK.

Value for money
The hotel is near to the train station and other tourist spots. If you’re looking for value for money, this is worth it.

Very Good Value!!!!
For the money this was a very good place to stay.. A little hard to find since u have to walk thru the building to an elevator and go up to the 3rd floor. It's also a good walk from/to the MRT Zhongshan Green or Red line door #5. Breakfast included but from 7 - 9 only. Staff VERY HELPFUL... Best part was the Jetted Tub!!!!

Clean Hotel in Good Central Location
I guess I was slightly disappointed as the reality did not quite match the quality of the photo however for the price I cannot complain. The negative aspects were that the rooms often are windowless and those near the Reception/Breakfast area very noisy especially in the morning. On the positive side the rooms are large and clean and the Reception staff generally friendly and helpful. The location is good being adjacent to several local stores and night market although the walk to the nearest metro can seem a long way with heavy luggage be it that it can be done in 10 minutes without. The complementary breakfast is very geared to the Asian pallet so do not rely on getting well fed before discovering the joys of wonderful Taipei.Be prepared for the heavy traffic!

Cheap, Clean but poor acoustic separation.
neat and tidy. generally value for price and include breakfast
However, acoustic segregation is not good and you could easily heard the noise coming from doors or next room.

Horrible except location
Great location. Hotel staff most unpleasant. Average breakfast but don't refill dishes (arrive early). Cleanliness less than desirable. Need major remodeling. Need better management for sure (manager ignore our requests and is inefficient).

Avoid this hotel
Great location but horrible hotel. Most unfriendly staff. All is run-down, old, and dirty. Breakfast choices could be improved. Laundry facilities is a plus. OK lobby with seating area.

Sleeping on a sheet of bedrock
Location was fine as it was in the heart of downtown and the night market. The breakfast was passable, however these are all the positive things I had to say.
The bed was hard as a rock and temperature control was not working well, so asides from trying to sleep on a bed that resembles concrete you're either sweating or freezing because the temperature control had a mind of its own.
The room was not clean either, it feels like it been years since the walls have had a good scrubdown.
The facetowels are actually paper towels, not sure why they couldn't afford a real face towel...
The staff was friendly but not overly accommodating and that would be the cherry on top, where I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Decent and affordable hotel
Decent hotel overall. Some cracks in the bathroom tiling but I'm OK with that. Fast wifi and free breakfast buffet, great deal for $60 a night.

If you don't mind kind of hotel
It's quite a run down hotel. Based on the budget that we had, this is the best option for us at that moment.
Breakfast option was bad
