A depressing experience.
The reception desk is protected by bullet-proof glass. After such a first impression, who would feel comfortable staying here? For this, we paid $321 per night.
The rooms are fine per se, but for $321 a night, you'd expect A LOT more.
The staff is nice, but you can tell, their mind is somewhere else, they have other worries aside from the hotel's guests.
The breakfast is really crappy and does not offer anything fresh, with the exception of maybe a piece of fruit. Plus, sinnful amounts of plastic are being wasted every single day, since all of the cups, plates and cuttlery are disposable.
The neighbourhood is quite ugly. There's trash everywhere, and plenty of homeless people or people suffering from addictions roam the streets. This part of town evidently has more important and urgent needs, than serving the tourism industry.
