The room has a small patio where we can sit and enjoy watching the sheep and chickens that live in motel’s backyard, something that not many places offer. A toaster, silverware, a kettle and plates/bowls are provided.

Burkes Pass Motel was lovely for our short stay in the Lake Tekapo area. Easy check in/check out. Felt like we were on a farm retreat with the garden, hens, and sheep on the property. Very clean room and friendly staff :)
