I had a bad experience with this place , as I booked last minute for last night in marrakech. As its was coming to an end of my trip to in marrakech i wanted to wind down in a riad near main square i searched for a riad where parking is available and this place stated there was which wasn't the case I had to walk 10 mins to place. When I reached there the room I was put in was on ground floor with sofa seating area for guests right outside my room which i thought was not very private. The main issue i had was i was trying to sleep when all food cooking smells was coming into my room, i did ask to be moved into another room upstairs and staff stated all fully booked and i can just open my window which was really high up could not be reached at all. Did not like the service at all and couldn't bare cooking smells in room that made it unbearable to get rest so had to check check out straight away. It really ruined the end of my trip.

My wife and I stayed at the Riad Eden for our first time in Marrakech. The Riad was easy to find and we were warmly welcomed by the staff immediately with some wonderful Moroccan mint tea. Our room was on the top floor where we had easy access to a beautiful terrace and rooftop patio (with a pool) with amazing views of the Medina. Zahira and her team were very pleasant and professional throughout the trip. We even asked of the could bring breakfast (which is included and delicious) to the terrace every morning. They always obliged. Also for those that need to stay connected, the wifi had great speed and coverage. We we also very close to the convenient Place Mellah where there was always lots of hustle and bustle and reasonable restaurants and shopping. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Marrakech.

8/10 Very good

Riad Eden is a tranquil oasis only 10 mins walk from the hustle and bustle of the Jenna El Fna square and 5 mins from the more peaceful square near the Jewish Market and the Bahia Palace. Our Orange Room was well equipped, cleaned daily and very comfortable with the added advantage of being on the same floor as a lovely shady sofa area. The only downside was the bed was exceptionally hard and uncomfortable. The breakfast was delicious, home made yogurt with cereal, pancakes, bread, jams, marmalade, honey, fresh fruit, freshly squeezed fruit juices, tea and coffee. The ladies who run the Riad are exceptional. Polite, charming, pleasant and cannot do enough for you.

Riads are the place to stay in Masrkesh. Unfortunatelly, it is difficult to get to the Riad if you never walked in th Medina. Lack of clear signs mskes and easy walk scary. This Riad is cataloged as 4 stars. I say 2 stars. There were basic elements missing to be a 3 stars, such as TV and telephone. I would recommended reclassifying to 2 stars, adding a sign on the entrance door stating it is a Riad, and guiding signs from the main road. The staff was very nice, slthough they only speak arabic and french.

2/10 Poor

The night before we were set to checkout, from our 7 night stay, we returned to the Riad at 11PM where we were handed a bill from the night manager for local taxes and a airport transfer for the following morning. Why would I be invoiced in this manner? We had only asked if they could contact a taxi for us so pre billing for a taxi is weird also. When checking out I informed the owner that I would pay for the city taxes (385 MD) and nothing else. He says "cash only", when they clearly have a credit card machine and after a minute of awkward arguing he decides to run the card. I specifically said, I would pay the "taxes only" several times to him and he comes back and casually tries to cover up the receipt where he charged me 550 MD. The total of the taxes and for a ride I hadn't asked for, nor received. It's bad enough that these "taxes" were added the last night of our stay and not previously discussed. POINT BLANK. Do not stay at Riad Eden. The owner / guy running the Riad is extremely shady. Super pushy and rude. He ended up chasing us down the street to where the taxies pick up, which made us super uncomfortable. Saying he had a car for us. During our stay he lurked around and constantly pushed for us to eat there every time we came and went. It's like, I came here to explore all over the city I don't want to eat at the Riad every single night. Wifi was extremely poor as well even located close to the router. We didn't read up, however seems like this guys antics are well

READ THIS BEFORE YOU BOOK
We checked out two hours after arriving. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the cleaners and the handrail was hanging off the wall, we knew we had made a mistake. The photographs are cleverly taken as the rooms and facilities are very small and we had the biggest room! The terrace area has a bed for all 6 rooms to share and a pool which at best is 6ft by 6ft pool I kid you not and any more than 2 people on the bed or in the pool is packed ... I challenged the owner who agreed a full refund if I left so he escorted my wife and I to the street and left us there..... Two women in a bazaar in Morroco without even checking we could get to a taxi with our luggage. He has since told Hotels. com that he won't refund us and these guys are a waste of time as well.

6/10 Good

Good location, not as large/smart as expected
Good communication with owner before we arrived. Arrived 10pm, had dinner as arranged, expensive for what it was but convenient. Man working there was friendly, didn't speak much English & didn't explain anything. Went on our own to find the roof terrace, small with tables & chairs. We had the most expensive room, Chocolat, but it wasn't worth the extra money as no window; it was dark to spend time in when we returned each day for a short rest. Chairs on balcony not very comfortable, as balcony looked over courtyard, not very private. Coffee room seemed nicer with a window. When our planned Imlil excursion didn't work out, the owner helped us & offered one of his tours. He assured us the Three Valleys trip was nicer than the Imlil one, and as it was a private tour we could just ask our driver to take us to Imlil as part of the tour. So we agreed. But at the start of the tour the driver said he could not take us to Imlil. We agreed to do his trip; once we were driving he got very heated about taking us to Imlil even though it was not as good. We certainly did not want him to take us somewhere he clearly did not like and it was an unpleasant atmosphere trying to persuade him just to stick to the trip we had agreed. Trip itself was great, driver left us to go for walks on our own and then met us in the car, but no visit to a village as we had asked for. He got very angry again at end & wanted to go to Imlil. We didn't want 2 hrs in the car with someone so angry. Unpleasant end.

It was a beautiful Riad in the heart of the medina in Marrakech. The service was wonderful and so was breakfast, which was included. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The owner was there everyday and gave us helpful tips as well as directions when needed. We would stay here again for sure.

Lovely Riad in centre of Marrakesh
The Riad was lovely and the staff helpful. Dinner was delicious. Very authentic atmosphere - nicer than a hotel. The Riad is difficult to find initially, so I recommend getting dropped off by taxi at the Mellah then arrange for someone to guide you to the Riad - I found a local at the cafe, but perhaps the taxi driver could assist. Agree on the price beforehand - no more than 20 Dihrams if in daylight. Once I arrived at the Riad it was easy to find my way around. Taxi to the Mellah should cost no more than 100 Dihrams if in daylight.
