Have stayed at this hotel previously a couple of years ago before covid and it was excellent, hence booking again. This stay was dissapointing, even though we booked hotel transfers prior to arrival, upon arrival no one there to greet us, I phoned the hotel and they told me to get a taxi (although did offer to pay). Also put us in a taxi back to the airport. There's no point pre booking transfers to the hotel anymore, just save yourself the hassle and if you want to stay here arrange you own taxis, it will likely be cheaper. Staff at the hotel are OK and no complaints there. Room was a little old and worn and could do with a refresh, towels were stained and tap was loose etc.
Overall I unfortunately feel the hotel standards have gone downhill in the last couple of years. There are plenty of other hotels in the area for less money and I suspect better quality.
Also I have wrote an email with my feedback to the reservations team but recieved no response so assuming once they have taken your money there is no further customer service.
Shame really, I hope they sort themselves out and become the hotel they once were before COVID.
