NYE stay
Second year in a row staying for NYE and Dee at the front desk was wonderful! Very kind and helpful! The room was great and bed super comfy with a great view! One of our favorite places to stay on the island!

Very nice and affordable. Right near the port so we could watch the dolphins and cruise ships come in. A cool set up and clean.

We only stayed 1 night. We always stay here the night before we cruise as it’s a 15 min walk to the ship. Hotel is Vern clean and tidy. Staff is always so friendly and helpful. We came in Christmas night and they even had a list of restaurants open on Christmas Day. Definitely will stay again on our next cruise

Not that great for the price and parking too expen
With booking through here they gave us the cheapest room.. Accessible .. I had to wait till exactly 4:00 pm to come check in only to have to wait because apparently room wasn’t ready.. Why they just didn’t give me another room I have no idea..which I’m all for cheaper but the room had cracks around the window that let cold air seep in. The shower was one you could pull off the sprayer which if you were over 5’0 it was a little awkward. Parking needs to he included in room rate..$15 a night is a bit pricey. Probably not going to be staying here again

Great place to stay will definitely stay again.
We spent one night here while waiting to go on a cruise. The arrival was wonderful. The staff went well above what was necessary. We had to have some items dropped off via Amazon and instacart and they were wonderful and making sure we received them. The afternoon staff person that's a different story. I have talked to the property about this. But don't let one rotten apple ruin the bunch. The room was wonderful could use a little touch of paint here or there. The breakfast was great could have used a little bit more sustainability. But I will say the fruit was phenomenal that they offered.

Enjoyable Stay
Four of us stayed here for two nights to enjoy Christmas scene downtown Galveston and we were very happy we chose this property. There is no better location than this one. It's a few minutes easy walk to downtown main area (the strand) and there are shops and restaurants all over. Even though we were close to downtown, it is very quite inside the hotel and that gave us a good night sleep. The breakfast is continental so don't expect too much. We knew it was continental so we were totally fine with it. It gave us enough energy until lunch! We definitely would come back here should we visit Galveston again.

Great pre cruise stay.
The staff was great, Dee was amazing, I feel like I made a friend. They also have a cruise shuttle that was very convenient. Local restaurants within a very short walking distance.

Thank you Dee and Reggie!
It was clean and close enough but I didn’t care for the man with earrings who worked there that night. Rave reviews of hospitality but I felt like I was bothering him to ask about the shuttle and crappy plumbing. The shuttle service is heavily advertised as a selling point of staying here so I wanted to know how that would work the next day he was like the terminal is just right there and pointed backwards. Ok. I checked in he asked for my debit card I told him I paid in full (my receipt didn’t mention a hold nor does the blurb on here but fine) but he was snarky like “yes we still need your card like any hotel” geez sue me I’m single, I’ve never cruised and I’ve been in traffic all day. I tried to just avoid him and prayed someone new was working when I departed. That person thank God was Ms. Dee sooo sweet and was asking me why I was trying to walk 7 BLOCKS when the shuttle could get me?! Geez I didn’t know smh. She immediately called Reggie (nice man) and in 10mins I was on my way. Traveling can be so awkward and it was my first cruise I was nervous and I felt the first guy just didn’t feel I was worth much thought. Dee and I are both black women so she understood I’m just trying to get where I need to go w as little hassle as possible. She’s a treat yall treat her well I would only stay again on her watch.
