The hotel is charming. Would absolutely recommend and stay again.
The ugly: No AC, no fans. Small balcony door had to be kept wide open over the terrace bar to get any airflow. (And Saturday night there was a free concert that kept rocking until midnight.)
The bad: My room (standard double) was small with a tiny bathroom, keycard entry took some practice to get it right, and mediocre wifi access in the room. The hotel amenities book is all in German.
The good: Lots of cool antiques decorating the public spaces. Breakfast had options for everyone. (Because of the open door I woke to the smell of bacon and croissants.) Easy walk across the stree to the main therme and center of a lovely town.
The FABULOUS: The spa/pool is gorgeous! I should have spent lots more time in the spa. The hours are 0700-2200. An awesome place to relax. I liked the tiny little corner with the heated tile bench! The salt room was nice. The sauna is nude only.
Tips:
Google maps thinks the entrance is on the opposite side of the road.
At 8pm on a Friday night everything but a couple of restaurants in town are closed. (Solution, go to the spa!)
