This is mostly personal preference so keep in mind that while I did not enjoy my stay, you might.
From the moment we went to check in, we were disappointed. The process makes no sense. I walked into the room where the front desk was and was told to wait outside, despite there being multiple open stations. Others in my group with the same room type were allowed to check in, but not me. My girlfriend went to walk around the property just to have a look. She was accosted by security and told she would have to leave by walking out to the beach in the back. She refused and explained we were checking in. She then simply walked back to the lobby.
After we checked in, we were taken to our room. It was literally next to the kitchen for the bakery. Also very close to the lobby bar. When we went to bed we were treated to hours of clanging dishes and silverware. We got no sleep from 1-3 am. The room also smelled like a combination of mildew and mild sewage.
Most of the food is terrible. Security harasses you constantly. The drinks could not be weaker. Many things you might want are pretty pricey add-ons. The restaurant hours are pretty short windows and inconsistent. Generally, it’s not great. That said, it’s also pretty inexpensive.
If you choose to go, the sports bar is okay. Chef’s Plate is actually good, but you do have to pay. Asiana was fair, but meals you would want do cost extra.
Also, a word of warning on checkout; it is completely ridiculous.
