Terrible experience in Montreal
Recently stayed at the Radisson Hotel near Montreal Airport, and my experience was disappointing to say the least. The cleanliness of the hotel was terrible—particularly the washroom and shower as well as the dirt in thr coffee maker and room appliances which were in unacceptable condition. To make matters worse, the washroom door lock was broken, adding to the overall feeling of terrible stay.
The lack of a restaurant on-site was another inconvenience. I understand that staff may have been on strike, but no alternative arrangements or considerations were made for guests, leaving us to fend for ourselves.
The service at the front desk was perhaps the most disheartening part of my stay. The lady I interacted with was rude and unprofessional, making it clear through her tone and body language—such as rolling her eyes when asked questions—that she was unwilling to assist.
For a stay costing over $200 per night, this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a hotel. I would not recommend this property to anyone. It is far from worth the price and falls significantly below basic hospitality standards.
