I expected better

I expected so much more out of this place based off of reviews. There was hair on the shower wall so I doubt it was clean. Room remodeling was like every other hotel in the area- shoddy. I.e. paint all over, ugly spots, and we had paint on our shower curtain. Bed was too firm. I like a firm mattress and this was just extra firm. I liked the layout of the room. We only stayed about 12 hours, but the AC did start leaking water inside while we were packing to leave.

Needs all new people working

Customer service was the worst I've ever seen. The tenant yelled at me loud enough for the people outside to hear me. Then our room leaked water in a matter of seconds. There is a big puddle right in the middle of the floor they had to switch us to a different room. Which they cleaned, is one of the better rooms, but it was really not much better than what we had. And it was less handicapped accessible

Perfect

Everything was very clean on the property ! I gave our experience and expectation of the hotel a 5 star. There was only one thing we did not like that was the water pressure! It was horrible. It took literally hours for the bath tub to fill up .but other than that it was perfect !

Stay somewhere else.

The location was very close to the park, however the parking lot was terrible when first pulling in. The shower curtain was gross at the bottom and couldn’t change the shower to a bath. When showering the water would somehow leak into the floor, in which our socks kept getting wet until we laid towels down. I had request new towels and were provided in the office and told them about the floor. They still came into the room and gave us more towels and took the dirty ones, which was fine. The only issue then was they did that they moved all of our cell phone chargers and one happen to go missing. Which why they would move them from the plugs to different places in our room is weird. When I went to the office they said no one would’ve taken it, called the person that gave us new towels as if they would admit they would’ve taken it. No apology for anything at all. Thankfully we didn’t leave actual valuables or i believe they would’ve went missing. Also if you can’t sleep through the sound of a train horn you won’t be able to sleep.

Not a good hotel

This hotel, or better yet Motel is very old. There are some updates in the room but the building is very old Our room had a door to another room and we could hear their tv all night. The pool is tiny and the pictures of the hotel are very flattering. The breakfast is very limited: yogurts, some cheap pastries, cereal, toast. The hotel is very close to cedar point but the park is 2mi away and you cannot walk, so you are still stuck spending 45$ of parking. The hotel is non smoking but many people walk out of their room and smoke there. There were cigarette butts everywhere. Also the train is very close and give the poor sound proofing I was up every morning at 5:30. The price is somewhat low I have to admit, so if you plan to just sleep there and not spend much time in the hotel, it is not the end of the world and you cannot walk spend the money you save in a wonderful dinner.

Decent stay for short time. Close to CP entrance.

Water pressure was amazing! Have soap dispensers in bathroom. Pool looked cool although we didn't have time to enjoy it.

Worth a stay!

The office staff was super friendly. The lobby was very clean. Check in was quick and easy. My room was nice, I had a 1st floor double bed. The upgraded bathroom was a pleasant surprise, it had a Led mirror, eco friendly toilet and giant soaking tub. The only reason for not giving 5 stars across the board is bad weather hit the area and caused the power outage and they did not have a generator and they were unsure of how long it would be before the power came on. Traveling with my teenage daughter alone I did not feel safe sitting in a dark hot room or prop the door open so I did request a refund and we left before we ever slept. By morning, my refund was back in my bank account, which was very quick. 100% I would ‘stay’ there again. It’s a 5min drive to Cedar Point.

Overall a good place to stay.

My husband, 10 year old daughter, and I stayed for 6 nights. We arrived very late but had no problems checking in and the lady at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Our room was simple, but clean. Its older but they are renovating the rooms. The second day I had an issue with the vending machine by our room taking money but not working and they quickly offered me a refund and the drink I didn't get and a few minutes later they had someone out there fixing the machine. They came by daily to refresh towels and take out trash if we needed. They offer a simple breakfast including oatmeal, cereals, muffins, donut options, toast, pancakes, milk, coffee, and juice. The pool was nice and the later hours made it easy to have some fun after long days at the dance competition. Our room was right across from the pool and even when the pool was busy it wasnt super loud in the room. Overall it was a good stay.

Stayed for a cedar point trip. Was sufficient for sleeping and it had a nice little pool for the kids to swim. It did the job well. Great location also.

Nice rooms, but surroundings a little off putting

It was great for our short stay. The rooms have been redone, but the outside needs a little more TLC. The staff was super nice and helpful. You can tell they have done a lot of work on this place. I think they need to watch the pool more closely, as we saw some local kids climb the fence where the office couldn’t see and used the pool.

Good enough

Cheap basic rooms for our family whole we were at Cedar Point. The rooms smelled of mildew when the ac isn't set to full blast. Bathroom was missing tile, sheets on pull outs were dirty. But staff responded quickly and very very kind and welcoming. If we had to hang out in the rooms it would not have been enjoyable, but to sleep in between outings the rooms were sufficient amd well priced.
