I like this hotel, it’s the 4th time I’ve stayed here mainly because it’s 4 blocks from my son’s home. The room is clean and spacious, the front desk staff is always friendly. The parking lot is scary with the riff raff but they don’t bother the guests and the hotel is pretty secure. The breakfast is typical of a cold selection and the coffee is good. There’s a NoFrills across the street for snacks and a Timmie’s in the parking lot. Really no negatives about this place.

Bed sheets were made, however for sure not cleaned. Homeless wandering outside made it weary to go out for a cigarette as they wouldn’t leave us alone upon our arrival. Otherwise for a ghetto cheap hotel next to the Expo centre it wasn’t bad.

The lack of cleanliness was the problem- dirty behind the bathroom doors, stains on the sheets and there was a dirty wall. Perhaps more but we didn't check. Plus we could hear the people upstairs - very thin ceiling.

This is the second time I've stayed at this hotel. I chose it because of it's proximity to my destination. It is dated and there was a couple of quirks about our room that they are addressing. For the price, it's a good value. It's clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly.
