It’s fine
The hotel rooms are clean, and everyone is friendly. The pool area has seen better days but we did have to ourselves most evenings and the hot tub is huge so that was a good experience. One day we had no hot water until 4pm because of the weather which was fine but we waited until 10 or 11 to decide we’d just go unshowered for the day and were surprised nobody told us there was a farmers market happening downstairs that morning. Not when we checked in, not when we called about the hot water that morning. We were up there twiddling our thumbs waiting for hot water to return in the building, and they could have told us there was coffee and fresh bagels and pastries etc downstairs. Instead, by the time we decided to stop waiting for hot water came down to start our day, everything was sold out and we were starving. My only other critique is how un-cozy it is. Floors in the room are tile and cold, so it’s a bit sterile. Shampoo & conditioner are in shared containers and you never know who does what to these things in an economy hotel so that always grosses me out. This is all nit-picky though, the location is great and it’s a simple hotel with basic amenities.
