Great choice for swimmers
Three day stay in Taipei - very good selection for swimmers. Top floor has a 19m pair of swim lanes and the pool is heated. Had considered the Grand Hotel for the swimming but they didn't have rooms. They have a 50m pool as part of their facility, but I was reminded by another swimmer that they don't heat the pool. That may be OK in the summer, but wouldn't have been welcome at 60 degrees F in the morning. Pool belongs to a health club collocated at the hotel, so the lanes get crowded fast. Get in early.

Shangri-La Hotel provided an exceptional experience with outstanding hospitality. From the moment I entered, the staff was incredibly welcoming and ensured that my stay was smooth and hassle-free. I was thoroughly satisfied throughout my stay, and the room was absolutely fantastic. The pool staff were not only friendly but also maintained strict safety standards, which I deeply appreciated. It was a truly delightful experience, and I will definitely return on my next visit to Taiwan.
