Our experience was quite mixed.
One major issue was the entrance and stairwell, which were very narrow and not mentioned in the listing. As someone who is 6 feet tall, I actually hit my head while using the stairs. The staircase is steep and tight, making it especially difficult and unsafe when carrying luggage or travelling with children. In our view, this property is not child-friendly at all.
The condition of the stairs also raised serious safety concerns. In the event of a fire, it would be extremely challenging to evacuate quickly, particularly with kids. This is something that should be carefully considered.
The backyard area was not clean, and inside the flat there was an unpleasant smell. We also noticed small fly-like insects coming out from the wooden flooring, which was quite off-putting. Additionally, there was no proper lighting over the dining area, which made it inconvenient.
The toilet and shower facilities also need improvement. The hand shower was not working, and there was no extractor fan in the toilet, which made ventilation poor and uncomfortable.
On the positive side, the beds were clean and there were enough towels provided. Communication from the host was also good and responsive.
Overall, while the property might be manageable for adults travelling without children, we would not recommend it for families due to safety and comfort concerns.
