Downtown Dubai
City centre Dubai dazzles with its sky-piercing Burj Khalifa and world-class shopping at Dubai Mall. The spectacular Dubai Fountain puts on mesmerising water shows while Dubai Opera hosts cultural performances that will blow your mind. Between the luxury hotels and buzzing restaurants, there's an energy here that makes you want to explore every gleaming corner. Getting around couldn't be easier with three Dubai Trolley stations connecting you to the rest of the city. Upscale hotels offer plush rooms with jaw-dropping views, and the air-conditioned walkways keep you cool even in the desert heat.

Dubai Marina
Dubai Marina's glittering skyscrapers create a canyon of glass around a stunning 7km waterfront promenade. Stroll past luxury yachts while picking between upscale dining spots or hit Marina Beach for sun and surf. The Walk and Beach Mall offer retail therapy between dips in the sea. Shopaholics can lose themselves in Dubai Marina Mall before catching sunset drinks at a waterside café. Convenient tram stops connect you to Dubai's attractions while keeping the area walkable. Hotels range from sleek high-rise accommodation to serviced apartments with spectacular views. The area buzzes with beach clubs and rooftop bars after dark, perfect for travellers seeking Dubai's glamorous side.

Jumeirah Beach Residence
JBR's stunning beachfront promenade draws sun-seekers and style-hunters alike. The Walk buzzes with open-air cafés, boutiques, and entertainment, while the golden beach offers perfect spots for swimming and people-watching. Ain Dubai towers on the horizon, and the area's gleaming skyscrapers create a striking backdrop for your beachside adventures. High-end hotels and serviced apartments line the waterfront, offering luxury amenities and Gulf views. The area's international dining scene serves everything from Lebanese mezze to American steakhouses, and getting around is a breeze with the nearby Dubai Tram and plentiful taxis.

Deira
Deira sparkles with the excitement of old Dubai where traditional souks beckon with glittering gold and aromatic spices. Wander through narrow alleys filled with treasures or hop on an abra water taxi for a scenic ride across Dubai Creek. The bustling waterfront offers fantastic views of wooden dhows while the markets pulse with the energy of authentic Arabian commerce. Metro stations make exploring a breeze with Abu Baker Al Siddique and Salah Al Din stations connecting you to modern Dubai. Feast on flavourful Middle Eastern cuisine at local eateries or browse the shops at Al Ghurair Centre when you need a break from haggling at the souks.

Jumeirah
Jumeirah's pristine beaches and luxury shopping create a playground for travellers. The iconic Burj Al Arab hotel rises majestically from its own island, while Madinat Jumeirah offers a taste of traditional Arabian markets with a luxurious twist. Cool off at La Mer beachfront or browse the high-end boutiques at Mercato Shopping Mall for that perfect souvenir. Dining options range from celebrity chef restaurants to casual beachside cafes with stunning Gulf views. Most accommodation is upscale hotels and resorts with private beaches and exceptional service. While public transit is limited, taxis and ride-sharing services make getting around this exclusive coastal paradise a breeze.

Learn more about Dubai
Futuristic skyscrapers pierce the desert sky, with the Burj Khalifa towering above all like some architectural fever dream. Dubai Mall isn't just shopping—it's an indoor city complete with an aquarium where sharks glide overhead while you eat ice cream. The Gold Souk dazzles with window displays that would make a pirate weep, while nearby Dubai Museum offers surprising insights into the city's pre-oil past. Take an abra across Dubai Creek for the price of a sweets bar, watching the curious dance of traditional dhows against glass towers. At night, the Dubai Fountain performs its choreographed spectacle, making Las Vegas displays look positively restrained. Museum of the Future gleams like a silver eye, promising tomorrow while KidZania lets little ones play at adulthood.

Atlantis, The Palm
"Staff are friendly and really helpful. At dinner staff are fast to clear tables and keep drinks flowing. We stayed half board and both selections were outstanding. The biggest pastry selection I’d ever seen. Dinner was excellent. All food was fresh and replenished quickly."
Millennium Place Marina
"We have stayed here multiple times. It is convenient, close to the metro DMCC and walking distance to the beach JBR. Very easy to get to using the Metro from the Airport Terminal 3. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked a club room (which we have in the past) however I was a bit disappointed with this service. Previously the Club room was a separate room, but this time the facility was provided in the common Jam Jars restaurant. This itself was not a problem but the food option was limited to 2 choices off a limited menu. The service was also limited in time between 6:00 pm and 8:00pm. The Club Room facility is well below the standard of other Hotel Chains that we have stayed with. In saying that I would stay here again based on the convenience but would need to reconsider booking a Club Room."

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Dubai
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable period to visit Dubai is from June to August, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a comprehensive exploration of the city’s significant landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions, a stay of at least 4 to 5 days is recommended. This duration allows you to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture, enjoy excursions to the stunning desert, experience the breathtaking skyscrapers, and even partake in delightful boating activities on the river. With budget-friendly options available, visiting during these months offers great value for money for those planning their trips on a budget.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: When planning a trip to Dubai, you may discover attractive hotel deals by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. For those seeking last-minute options, check the Last-Minute Deals area and enable email alerts or push notifications for flash sales. Additionally, travellers are more likely to see beneficial offers by using the Smart Shopping tool via the app, a comparison tool that helps you review hotel prices and amenities. This approach allows you to be promptly informed of any changes, such as room availability or price drops, ensuring a timely booking opportunity.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices can fluctuate depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates may help you find a better deal for your stay in a hotel in Dubai. If you're seeking a distinctive experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and can occasionally offer better value. When you book through Hotels.com, we’ll inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. Should the price be on the higher side, we may suggest alternative dates that could be more affordable.
- Consider your location: Hotels situated near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive; however, thanks to Dubai's outstanding public transport connections, you may discover a more affordable independent hotel located further afield that remains well linked. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money to be found. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
