Pleasant hotel in walking distance of Brandenburg gate. If your active approx 3km. It was comfortable and good value for money. The breakfast offering was very good. The bar area was quiet and pleasant. Apart from breakfast we didn't eat at the hotel.

Nice place closer to tube station. Very corporate hotel but enjoyed nonetheless. Our room was in the back part of the hotel, lifts were annoying as one lift didn’t take you to all floors. Friends had breakfast, said there was good choice! Would stay again

Ozyurt family from Istanbul
I will choose the same hotel if I visit Berlin again. The location is very convenient with bus stop right next to it and subway station in walking distance. Taxi waits in front of the hotel. Open buffet breakfast was delicious and had good variety for different tastes (children/adults). We found our room clean everyday we came back from our sightseeing trips. So thank you.

Comfortable once you’ve checked in
Good location for the marathon. We had a suite so plenty of room and well organised food for the marathon weekend - early breakfast and a pasta dinner was put on. The downsides were the self check in - created more issues than it solved and the air con in the rooms was off so they were too warm. Otherwise would recommend

Great for Families and Runners
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Berlin. It was spacious and clean, modern and updated - my kids esp loved the bunk bed option we had for our room. This was the perfect place to stay before the Berlin Marathon - it was set up great for families and runners - well located and central. I would not hesitate to suggest this hotel to anyone I know going to Berlin esp with kids.

Our room had an Air con problem. We did get an engineer out pretty quick. But he didnt fix it and no reason as to why. We were not offered a new room with working air con. But we did get a fan to help with the 34degree heat. Rest of the staff were lovely and the hotel appeared to be kept to a good standard. And having the self catering in house shop was a god send.

Modern hotel with all the essentials
The rooms are modern and clean. I was solo travelling so having a compact room with a double bed and spacious bathroom with space to place toiletries was great. A safe is essential these days so it was great to have one that was easy to work and use. A fridge that can be switched on if you want to use it or left switched off if you don’t makes sense.

I've stayed here 3x. Here are my thoughts. - Ask for a 2nd blanket. They're small. Pillows are puffy at first but become thin. - The restaurant staff can be very... German. Always a complication with our order. They get very defensive. The Potato soup and beef sandwich are fantastic. When I asked for them to take to the room they brought the food out on a tray in large ceramic bowls and plates. Imagine trying to carry large very full bowls of soup up an elevator by yourself. - Self Check In asks for a confirmation number. It is NOT on your Hotels.com receipt. Have that ready before you check in. - The breakfast is very good but does get old after the 2x visit.
