Refrigerator did not work in room. When we mentioned it to the clerk, he said, “Well, maybe next time.” Didn’t help since we lost some food. Unfortunate. Also, checking in was a little too much drama. Clerk wouldn’t allow my husband to check in for us even though he had the confirmation email and he has checked in for us on other stays. So, he called me. When I walked in to check in per request, clerk was waiting on another guest. So I got in line behind the other guest. Clerk said, “I need to see your ID.” I thought she was talking to the guest in front of me that she was helping. She didn’t address or look at me.so I waited my turn. She said it again. Not super friendly. Again, I had no idea she was speaking to me as she didn’t address or look at me. A third time she repeated louder and looked at me. I realized she was speaking to me and so I handed over my ID. Why so rude Hilton Garden Inn? I feel you can do better.
