Okay
Management needs to advertise accurately and offer better solutions or compensation when they make mistakes. Make it kid and pet friendly for real if you advertise it that way. If your pool is closed but your site said it was open offer pool passes somewhere or a free night!! Safe though, and clean!

Across from OU
Walls are thin, but that is kinda normal. The bed was comfortable the bathroom is tiny, but you don't spend a lot of time in there. Had a breakfast offering and coffee.

Won't stay again
The room did not look like the pictures and was well worn. The bad part was the drunken party that started at 2am and ended abouy 5am and alternated from a room downstairs and into the parking lot. Management should have kicked them out, but didn't. The breakfast was just grab and take. I stayed because of high reviews, but they appear to be fake.

The room was appealing, very neat and clean. The bed was maybe not the best, or the pillows, and there was a spring that squeeked in the bed whenever we moved. Other than that, it was very nice.

Taking Advantage of the Mentally Ill? Zero stars.
The hotel has started charging for ESA’s. The last time I stayed here this was not the case. I tried to tell the manager that I was disappointed and wouldn’t have stayed there if I knew. He wanted to argue with me about whether ESA is covered under the ADA. I know it’s not covered for hotels but many still don’t charge for that. The ADA does not force them to charge a fee, they make a conscious choice to profiteer off of people struggling with mental illness. Some people with PTSD need an animal to feel safe. The hotel had taken an extra $75 deposit for the dog so there is no reason to charge $25 for an ESA. This is very contrary to the spirit of Eugene and I’m sorry that I won’t be able to stay here anymore. Also, the bed in my room was incredibly uncomfortable and long overdue for replacement. This was also unwelcome feedback that I presented matter-of-factly. Sadly, I was treated quite dismissively and I’m tired of abusive, dismissive men who can’t manage their ego’s. Zero stars.

Just ok
Way over priced for what you get, parking is very tight, desk staff on check in not very friendly, when we left early in the morning the night desk clerk helped us get our luggage down the steps which was very nice
