We were notified after we made reservations that the property was undergoing major renovations. It would have been nice to know before making a reservation. We opened the door to the room and turned on main light switch; no lights. Fumbled around to the floor lamp and it would not turn on; not plugged in. We finally got a desk lamp to turn on. Room was bad: carpet along the base board was coming off, the furniture looked like a mismatch of old worn out garage sale items, large hole in bathroom door, bathroom door would not shut, paint peeling on shower walls and ceiling, shower rod trim piece pulled away from wall, TV would not tune in any channels even after several attempts, telephone not working, microwave unplugged, probably some things I overlooked or forgot about. To us, it looked like the property was in demolition rather than renovation. Worst night of our lives! When we complained to someone on the phone the next day, we were told we could have changed rooms. They should have never been renting the room they gave us! We are going to try real hard to get a full or partial refund.
