I was told I had to pay for an 18 day stay all upfront because I booked through hotels. A few days in I got a phone call about a family emergency so I had to check out early. I checked out and made phone calls and sent emails about getting refunded the rest of my booking. Several days later I was told by hotels.com that they have a no refund policy regardless of the situation. The hotel kept roughly over $500 for the rest of the booking. If I would’ve know about the no refund I never would’ve left the hotel or booked there in the first place. Nothing mentioned at check in or on the website.
