Not Quite 4-Star – A Mixed Experience at Paxton Paris MLV ⭐⭐☆☆☆**
We stayed at Hotel Paxton Paris MLV for two nights, drawn by its proximity to Disneyland Paris and the promise of a comfortable, four-star experience. While there were some positives, the overall stay left us disappointed.
The good: the hotel itself is spacious, and the bedrooms were generously sized—ideal for families or groups needing room to spread out. Its location is convenient for Disneyland Paris, with easy access via the nearby train station.
Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient, which we appreciated. However, communication with staff was challenging, as English was not widely spoken and assistance felt minimal. Staff weren’t as helpful or welcoming as one might expect from a hotel of this rating.
The corridors and rooms felt noticeably dated, lacking the freshness and polish you'd expect from a four-star property. The advertised shuttle to Disneyland was misleading—it only goes as far as the train station, which added extra planning and cost to our journey.
Overall, while the hotel offers space and a decent location, it doesn’t live up to its four-star rating. If you're expecting premium service and modern amenities, you may want to look elsewhere.
